I really like the third one: It makes beauty from a hideous piece of litter

You are almost as tall as that tree, Harry (ha). I always love your shadows.

A super shadow collage Harry and it is nice to finally see what you look like. You look taller than I expected. Also the cup’s shadow in #1 looks like the bow of a ship. Nice eye to see that.

Masterfully captured and presented, Harry; what a great group of shadows. Most people wouldn't even notice their existence. Excellent photography!

You are a master at capturing shadows. I love the translucency of #'s 1 & 3, and the composition of #4.

Something about the third one I like (shadow that is) very intersting

ok, back into the archives (if you can call february of this year "the archives"). I love this shot for two reasons: One, itself. And two, because it shows you finding art in everything around you. And of course, making a meaningful progression out of it...It's great to see, with 1 & 3, how transparent surfaces create completely different shadows. They create variations between light & dark; and you instinctively positioned them between the other two for variety, and the others are more opaque and 'regular'. Also, nice variety, the 3d having much variety in the 'parts' of the shadow, whereas #2 makes a monolithic tall shadow (contrasted with the simple little leaf itself). Fine seeing. And we also see different sidewalk textures. Finally, #4 ends it all with your 'signature', ie, your shadow, (next to a tree's). And that intense overhead light. Another delight from you, with you exploring the simplest forms of your day, and all close to home. A lesson for photographers everywhere... (and btw, thanks for the delightful story about geodes: We made radios too, though mine never picked up a thing! At least I tried. And I do remember geodes & crystals being used constantly...And again, Harry, thank you for your wonderful & always responsive comments in my gallery & fav's. They're all greatly appreciated, I assure you!)
