Description
...between 1924 and 1974, 5,000,000 International Harvester (IH) Farmall tractors were built.
...found the beauty above at, of all places, an airshow. This is a completely restored 1950 IH McCormick Farmall, Model M.
...some horses and mules were still used for cultivating/plowing on farms in the US until after World War II.
...tractors such as these led to complete mechanization of even small, family farms.

Gotta agree that things build in day long past seem to last longer than todays "throwaway" stuff. Used to have a 70's IH Transtar truck based round here when I was a nipper and boy did I spend hours dreaming about that!
