Description


This is another shot of this ancient volcano plug, in Wyoming, which has been left after 50 millions of years of erosion It is a religious site for all the Indian tribes for miles around. The nearest we have to this in the UK is the Cribbs Causeway in Northern Ireland where the solidified columns of molten rock can be seen more clearly.

We drove through the badlands, and at one point could see this formation off in the distance, but didn't get over that far. Thanks for posting this so I know what we missed!
