The part was not unfamiliar to her. As an erstwhile member of the Brunnen Daerth during their adventure to recover the Codex of Lhaegen’dirik, Kami had been transformed into a Mord elf and pretended to be a Witch. That took little enough effort, really. Her powers as a Mystic of Isis meant she had enough of the right kinds of spells to fake it as a Witch, and certainly enough magius to make it seem convincing.

But now, to prevent any possible connection between that disguise and this one, her face had been changed, her figure endowed significantly, and her things all transformed into other items. She was to be Lirdira Teken'ett, Witch of the Coven of the Spider and advisor to the First Daughter, an outsider that few in her inner circle truly trusted.

Her staff was now a dagger she wore at the small of her back. Miri’s permanent Weapon Shift would be dispelled when this was all over with, she hoped. The rest of her things were stuffed away in Jay’s Backpack of Holding. Strangely, she felt more exposed without her medical scanner and her holy staff than she would if she was running around completely naked. That however, would have Miri in a constant state of arousal, which would mean they’d never get anything done.
