DRAGON DREAMS Meet XUI MEI (a.k.a. “beautiful plum”) captured here remembering the rooms, the screens, the lanterns, fans, the temples, symbols and flowers she had seen in doarte’s celebration of the YEAR OF THE DRAGON and our MADHOUSE MUSEUM’s delightful display of Chinese artistry from Ming to Manchu dynasties. This lovely lady offered doarte some advise. “Why don’t you make those settings, scenes and motifs available to today’s audiences so creative imaginations can translate past beauty into modern meanings. She is quite an alive character Wayne. Such a presence! Viewing her, I almost expect her to turn her head and look at me. Wow! It is magnificent! Looking forward with much curiosity to what is to come.

Fabulous work as always, and I think this lovely lady had a marvelous idea. Then again that's why the MADHOUSE remains on the cutting-edge, because it's always open to new and creative ideas.
