Wendy had done this before. Pretending to be a Psi-Warrior was not too tough. However, this time, she wouldn't have access to her shapeshifting abilities. If she assumed her half-dragon form, she’d disrupt the Extended Polymorph and return to her true human form. She’d have to be very careful about that, but what bothered her most was not having access to her fluxrift. That was no change from her time as a member of the Brunnen Daerth. But she’d gotten more use to using her Psi-blade and it could pass into the UnderDark unremarked by those she encountered. As allies of the Illithid and the Shadows, such a weapon would be common enough to come by for a Psi-Warrior.

She was to be Quarrawae Aleantyl, younger sister of Ginzyne, the Warmaster of House Kiliryn, and a gladiator from the Kiliryn ludus. Not just any gladiator, she was to be Ustsargtil, First Warrior, of the school. She certainly had enough fighting skills and psionic powers to defeat any who might challenge her carrying such a title. But to be Ustsargtil, she would have to be vicious, merciless and cruel. That would be the hard part for a Kar’Thane warrior dedicated to defending life and protecting the innocent.
