The Return of the Artifact After successfully absconding with the Sacred Artifact right from the palm of the Demon King, and making his escape from the depths of Hell, Balthazar was now at the last stage of his Quest for the Promethean Flame. He entered the Temple of the Flame and he felt a stirring in his magical pouch, indicating that the artifact knew it was near its home. Its home within the pavilion appeared seemingly humble for the original flame stolen from the gods by Prometheus, but it was hand hewn by Hercules, himself, from the trunk of the Tree Of Life, as a tribute to Prometheus for having the courage to defy the gods. Balthazar opened and reached into his pouch and brought out the glowing sphere…. It hovered itself from his palms and came to rest upon the wooden pillar whereupon its energies once again assured the health of Mankind. The only thing left for Balthazar to do…. Bask in the adoration of the masses and collect the great treasures that will no doubt be bestowed upon the savior of Humanity.
