Description

I know it's been quite awhile since my last upload...but just haven't been feeling really good for some time.......then got really sick....went to ER here..they said I had a viral infection...tested me for the flu and pneumonia...couldn't find anything wrong..temp 103.8 did good to get there...got up next morning sicker than ever and hubby took me to Taylor Co ER...did same test my hospital here at home did.......and guess what? Pneumonia in the Right Lung...really bad...blood work all off......I was in there a week...Had to get blood...For 2 days no Television nothing...Just wanted to sleep... Finally got to come home...had a check up 5 days later...all my blood work came back good except my Potassium was just one point off...which is good for me.....and Dr found out I had a touch of pleurisy in my right lung as well...it still hurts when I breathe..He had the results from my Pet Scan...It came back the same as what I had done 4 mos prior...My nodule hadn't gotten any bigger nor had it got any smaller...so all in all I guess is good news....We just know it's there..and we can't remove it and expose it to air...so I am still on the chemo pills.....they don't make me sick like the other ones did....thank heavens...Was supposed to seen the Oncologist yesterday for a report on the Pet Scan but my Dr had told me the results already...I had to cancel...I woke up with the worst migraine ever...Used to get them a lot..Rarely get them now...and boy was I sick....so had to re schedule...I now go March6th...will get my Xgeva injection...my port flushed..and listen to results I already know about...Thought I would post today as this is Leap Year Day...Mike (Mikeerson) and I was talking site mail said I should post on this magical day....It only comes around every 4 yrs..so thought I would get an image done on this day & I see I missed the boat on getting an image done on Feb 29th (Oh well that's me as of late)......Please forgive me if I have not commented on some of your images..some days I feel like getting on the computer and other days I am not on it all......I am getting better slow but sure.......it's just taking me more time I guess due to my condition I was already in.......so hope you all forgive me...I want to comment....it just wears me out to sit anymore since I have had the pneumonia....Posted my first poem the other night in weeks....I just tired so easy......... I hope you like the Winter Moon image...I have had it done for some time...just not got around to posting it...see what I mean....probably took it over 2 months ago...just now uploading it.... Thank you for all the prayers...the site mails and the image dedi's that you have done for me...it means a lot.......I love all of you.... As usual all post work done on this image was in PSP9....added border...frame..and text... Thank you all for any comments you care to leave..and for those of you who favorite this image I thank you for that as well....I know you get tired of hearing this but please continue to keep me in your prayers...it means a lot...a friend of mine on my poetry site passed away while I was in the hospital and that upset me as he was my only lil brother on that site....we were close and he always read my poems and we chatted on Allpoetry site mail....so many people are dying...someone every day it seems....last week Whitney Houston...yesterday Davy Jones of The Monkeys....and they are so relatively young... We've not had hardly any snow here in my lil hometown...we maybe have gotten an inch or two...and the crocus and daffodils are coming up..they don't even know its not spring yet...it's been the oddest winter I have ever seen...... So now I have rambled enough....Again just bear with me on the comments...I will get back in the swing soon hopefully...Thank you all for stopping by and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.... I changed the title from Winter Moon to Harvest Moon....

That's a lovely Harvest Moon, and excellent postwork, Susan! Looks great! Hon, don't you even worry a little bit about not commenting - there is nothing to forgive, dear friend.. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to know you are felling a little better - I hope that trend continues. You just concentrate on getting your strength back, and visit when you are able.

Susan, you never need to apologize for not making comments. Those of us who care about you know what your situation is and completely understand. We are just happy to have to still posting and updating us on your situation. I'm so sorry to hear about your dear friend. I'm way old enough to have lost all of my immediate family and just about all of my oldest and dearest friends, so I can relate to your sense of loss. Until recently, I'd been unable to send or receive email. (Had to start a new account!) So I was out of touch with all my cyber friends for a couple of months. I wondered and worried about you, since the last post I had read had not sounded good at all. Very glad to see you are still with us and still fighting. Jeremy

I'm slow but I always get there. I have heard most of this news of yours so all I can say to it is I knew you'd be ok. I have belief in you and your strength to bounce back every time. :-) This is an amazing photo. I have the worst time getting my settings just right for photos like this. Excellent job.

A wonderful capture of this huge moon. I have had no luck with getting one as good as this so it is great to see this one. I am sorry that you have been so sick while I have been away but I am glad you are feeling well enough to post again. You are always in my thoughts and prayers and I hope that does help. It is great that spring is coming early for you as it always seems more cheerful once those flowers come. Hugs.

Hi Sis, glad to hear you're feeling some better... Nice image of the moon.. I don't live in Kentucky anymore.. I left last September because my daughter needed help so I'm back in Ohio. I miss Kentucky a lot, I so love it there. You take care Sis!

Really cool image! I love anything even remotely called 'harvest' (fall is my favorite season) and the moon is a fabulous addition to any render. Great shot you captured!
