Description
Another one taken from my front porch, looking across to the woodshed. This was during a period of very heavy, thick snowfall. The roundish, clumpy things in the foreground are dormant lavender bushes we planted about 5 or 6 years ago. They've been providing us with beautiful fragrant blooms each spring, though the winters seem to be taking their toll on them & I'm not sure how many more years we'll get out of them. I've read that 10 years is pretty good longevity for lavender plants - we'll see...
Turns out the this one day of snow yielded a good number of images that stirred my creativity, so will continue this series for the next week or so. Hope you enjoy them (as always, zoom enhances the experience) & thanks for commenting...

Wow ... you really got dumped on! It's so beautiful. I don't mind snow at all when I don't have to go anywhere! We got a trace that day, and it melted before lunchtime.
