BIOA few words: Ive been disabled (TB) for bulk of life. Now retired & purchased a computer three years ago (August 2002) when the word processor failed. Insisted on building it around Painter (then 7 now IX), & discovered Ultra Fractal in January 2005. Dont understand it, but thats the fun and the agony. Was always a keen amateur photographer, which mentally supported my weekend rambling. I was a member of the Regional Council of the Youth Hostels Association for a short while.
Towards the end of working life began attending various art classes and became a member of our esteemed local arts club. I regularly exhibit in their Annual Open (when the selectors allow) & nowadays resolutely enter computer art into their periodic critiques partly to overcome prejudices & to give the traditional artists some familiarity with this very different medium.
I live in Bristol UK, but am a Yorkshireman by birth.

Beautiful work!!

yes I noticed the gradients and was wondering how you accomplished it. Layering is almost the only way.. Simplicity at its best.

I like the colours and clean lines of this sailing ship..seeing them and then counting is not as straightforward you think. Definitely a leader:-)

A little too abstract, but otherwise interesting! I can still remember when Intrepid won the America's Cup back in the 60's!
