Description

Harry (Goodoleboy) and Denise (MrsRatbag). This Koi bench was carved by Norman Radin from a single log of Black Walnut. The 9 foot (2.74 meters) long and 800 pound (362.9kg or 57.14 stone) log was brought to Delray Beach, Florida from the Appalachian Mountains. The bench sits in the Pineapple Grove artist community area and without a back plus more or less round, not that comfortable. Taken last Saturday. OK to zoom. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Don't faint Dana it's me lol, sorry for lack of comments busy busy busy beginning my store here on Rendo, so don't get to see so many galleries just now, but hope to be back more v soon. Wow this is an amazing capture how very interesting. I love it when I see anything carved out of wood, because my father knew all about wood and was an expert and in making just about anything from it. He was either building with it (still have a little wooden chair he made me when I was small), he was carving it or creating amazing pictures with little pieces of it, he simply loved wood. I can remember him getting all upset if he ever saw a beautiful piece of wood covered in paint, 'sacrilage he would say. Thanks for this Dana, hugs Jane xx
