Description

...continuing yesterday's theme... ...museum curators like darkness for preservation but conversely must light key display areas. ...goal in this series is catching the overall ambiance of a major museum. Bill "Museum Lighting 1" thumb_2305645.jpg

in this, you have more of those sweeps of planes, as seen through the eaves of a front-most plane; but in this case the background planes are going more directions. What a symphony of lines and diagonals, what a musical piece. The railing, the underbelly of the big bird in the fore-right, the two planes above the "US Air Force prop plane, the wing-lines next to it (I assume those are wings, those verticals next to the nose of the right-most fuselage), etc...more "metropolitan" capture, a collision of forms enwrapped in beautiful darkness and lit by beautiful light. The curators have used light very dramatically here, but your shots make it sing and dance. Another beautiful shot in this series. Man you resonate with museum spaces. They should hire you out to go to the major museums of the world. Few photographers do this well, and you're such a natural at it...
