My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Such an elegant interior and beautiful work. Maybe you could build a 2 storey folly in the garden.

Looks fabulous. Very 1960's. Not that I was around back then. And just look at the quality of that wood!

Hey, you could put a new railing to the upstairs unit, or you could put one on a bridge across your little creek...just think how cool it would be rusty! Never give up hope. And it's a great design, too! What about just a railing around a little area for Mandy? Endless possibilities....

Thhis is so cool looking. I'd put a section of it on the wall with little plates sticking out to put pots or knick-knacks on

Ha! Now here, we have an example of what's know in the in the UK as Health and Safety Hell.. These quite lovely railings, would be removed because someone might snag their handbag on them! No, I'm VERY serious Tara! Great shot! Rob

This is another reminder of my 'Piet Mondrian' wall art and would fit in nicely in my home - but this is striking and very much a 'great thing' to own ;) fabricated by your relative - simply magical - I don't blame you, for wanting a 2 storey (story) house ... KUDOS BB
