Description

This is the 1931 Saint Edwards Seminary in Kenmore, Washington. You can look at the Wiki HERE to learn more if you've a mind to. Bill was working on a couple of the shots he took here, and it inspired me to get busy and start on mine as well, so you'll be seeing a lot more of this building over the next few weeks! I know I don't usually show you all of anything ... don't get excited ... it won't happen again! LOL! All my other images will be bits and pieces, I promise!

my first thought when I saw this was, 'My god! the cleaning crew required just to maintain it!' I would hate to be assigned to clean the windows! very good long shot! while I know you prefer to show little bits and pieces of things, it's a nice break to see shots like this

Beautiful capture! The golden light enhances the building's color and gives to it a sense of grandeur.

I can't believe you got the whole thing! I've been there and couldn't manage to fit more than just a little piece. You must have been back in the woods to get this! Great capture, there's a lot of beauty in this deceptively austere building!

Comments on you breaking your mold are a hoot. Rob's got it right;-) I was amazed at how the colors of the bricks changed during the hour or so that we strolled the grounds...red, yellow, gold. Quite a treat for the eye here:*

Ah, just a quaint summer cottage, I see....... You know, with all the stuff we're moving here from Jo's mom's house, and soon from my dad's apartment (he's moving), we need a place like this just to store everything. ;-P An awesome shot, Tara - and it's the whole thing! You'll be shooting entire airplanes next! LOL!
