Description

On Wednesday, 7 March 2012, my wife Lea did not wake up. She died in her sleep, quietly. It was sudden, unexpected and blind-sided the entire family. She survived cancer in 1988 and stayed healthy. Together, we built a family and business. We shared so many things in common, including scuba diving, taking cruises, horseback riding, and role playing games. We never had an argument over religion, sports, politics, movies, vacations or finances. Not one. We were "two peas in a pod". We should have been twins. We lived, not just with each other, but for each other. I wrote her poetry throughout our life together. Her nickname was "the Mouse". It came from one poem I wrote her whilst courting her, in iambic pentameter. (We both loved Shakespeare. Matter of fact, the evening before her passing, we went to a theater performance of "Cymballine".) I am beside myself with grief and sadness. For the first time in well over half my life, I am without her. If I do not visit your site, or leave comments, please understand.

Veramente sconvolto da questa notizia , Allen , ti sono vicino con tutto il cuore ! Purtroppo non sto ricevendo la posta e solo un'immagine di Ute su Facebook mi ha fatto capire la cosa . Really upset by this news, Allen, I am close with all my heart! Unfortunately I am not receiving mail, and only an image of Ute on Facebook made me realize it. I wish you peace and serenity!

I know how you feel. I lost my husband of nearly 38 years Feb 15, 2010. But, I did know it was coming. Cancer seems to get us all in the end. Please live on for her sake. Aloha
