Description

Not the sharpness of my previous upload, but anyway I saw this species for the first time during our holiday in Fuerteventura and was proud to be able to capture this shot ! The Spectacled Warbler (Sylvia conspicillata) is a species in the typical warbler genus Sylvia. It breeds in north west Africa, southwest Europe from Iberia to Italy, and then further east on the eastern Mediterranean islands and coastal regions. It is mainly resident in Africa, but other populations migrate to winter in more widely in north and west Africa and Egypt. This bird is a rare vagrant to northern and western Europe. It also occurs in some Atlantic islands. The subspecies orbitalis has been proposed for those of the Cape Verde Islands. The presumed subspecies for the Madeira birds, bella is today usually included in this taxon, as are the birds of the Canary Islands, where the species is quite common except on El Hierro and known as zarzalero y ratonero (Álamo Tavio 1975). La Fauvette à lunettes (Sylvia conspicillata) est une espèce de passereau appartenant à la famille des Sylviidae. Beautiful! The bird has such nice coloring, and the background color fits so well. I love it when I get a photo where the coloring of the background matches the bird in this way. It's sharp enough, though I know how fussy we digital photographers can get. ;)

Yes looks the AF was a bit off, but at small size looks sharp OK. A colourful bird, a new one for me. Your framing and the situation more than makes up for the IQ.
