Independent News Network 14th August 2610 -Special News Update- Despite mysterious and extensive tacheon disruption of the Federation's communications network, images have been received from the recently liberated world of Gohara. The planet's capitol city Kaitar was taken several days ago by Federation Marines after facing stiff resistance from Dayton-Aomori security troops, and the city's Administration has since been replaced by Federal representatives. Peace now reigns over the city, but fierce fighting is still going on in the desert badlands where large numbers of D-A forces are reported to be present. These large concentrations of D-A troops have led to speculation that secret military installations exist in the area, and may be the real reason for the Federation's choice to liberate this small world first. An increase in the number of rumours originating from the system concerning large, unreported, space engagements between elements of the Federation's 6th Fleet and D-A vessels, lends some confirmation of the systems importance to Dayton-Aomori. ********************************************************* Today, a Federal spokesman revealed the MN8 Media Restriction Order that is applied in times of conflict for strategic security, may soon be lifted in the Goharan system.
