Description
...no, my last post was not tilt-shift photography, which is a way of photographing and postworking a real scene to make it look like a scale model scene.
...my last upload (see below) is one small corner of the huge model railroad called, "The Great Train Story", in the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.
...Andrew (Blinkings) got it exactly right. Way to go Andrew. When were you there?
...the scene above is very close to my last upload which is positioned only about 15 feet from of the scene above.
...the overall model depicts downtown Chicago, Illinois on one end with downtown Seattle, Washington on the other end and representative railroading scenes of the countryside in between to include the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains and the Cascade Mountains. All ages of boys and girls, men and women appear to love spending time here.
