Description

As some of you know, I love books as much as I do music. Here is a picture of my favorite Bookshop EVER! I think Robert took me to EVERY bookshop he could think of during those ten days...lol It was this bad, I had to leave some of my belongings behind to fit books that one or the other of us had bought for me to have here at home in the U.S. lol As awesome as Peterborough, London, and the other places we went to during my visit, the Town of Stamford was my favorite place to be. So, I suppose its only fitting to feel right at home when I walked through the front doors of Walkers:-) Have a good weekend all...Happy St. Patrick's Day if you celebrate...don't drink and drive...its always the other person who pays the price. Most inviting shoppe I agree! I would have to check this one out myself if I had been there! I was so disappointed to see the obituary run on the Encyclopedia Britannica by Esquire magazine yesterday; "Encyclopædia Britannica, 1768-2012". I will always love and respect "real books"!

Oh, I love books also and I could easily get lost in this shop!! And what an awsome building! I love the Tudor look...so I'm assuming that the building is probably pretty old. The details in the architecture are just beautiful...

Great. I love these 'old style' books stores. They are popping up again over here now that the giant Borders went broke.

Nice picture, and I imagine you are like me in that your home is overflowing with books. I gave away boxes of books as I had not room for them. Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--o0dnVyb7g
