The thing I have with this type of grip is, they tend to slip from the sweat after a lot of practice work, & they chafe & blister. Though it would be easy enough to craft a handle. Cool. ")

these are nice to look at as in a collection, but from what I understand very illegal to have on your person as well throwing knifes.I was going to purchase throwing knifes until I read it is not legal to carry around I have several hand made knifes I purchased in the Philippines, but there is no way I would try and bring such now even in checked luggage.I threw away one Butterfly knife, also known as a Balisong or fan knife since they are very much against the law in the US quality capture Mike

That's beautiful, Mike. It looks like a well balanced axe and very sharp! I used to have a very lovely butterfly-knife with a brass handle with embossed dragons, like Richard. I think someone stole it. I think you'll be okay if you just practise in your yard and don't take them off your property.
