This is looking down on the fo’csle from the starboard bridge wing, showing the Mk 13 launcher for Harpoon anti-ship missiles or SM-1MR and RIM-66E anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles. The missile in the launcher is a RIM 66E standard surface to air missile.

Enjoy!

turned out well from this angle.of course they replaced them since the politicians can not get kick backs from using old weapons

Much better view and good to see people are observing the red line rules this time. Neil's Village People remark on the last post gave me a laugh.

Yes, that's the first thing I saw....'The Red Line'.. In the U.K. people would crossing it ALL the time.. (I make it sound an awful place, don't I?) Well, its not far off.. A great shot this, excellent view, I don't think you could have gotten better! Well shot.. I now have my old pictures scanned and ready for upload! Be warned! lol Rob

This series is doing a great job of catching me up to what's been going on in naval armaments...and this is obsolete already...sheesh, I must be getting the same way:) Sorry I've been missing some of your posts of late...am awaiting new glasses...until they are ready my time on the computer is a bit curtailed.

What Tailspin would call "FlyFly BoomBoom", his two favourite things :-) Never actually seen one of these before so very interesting. I can't help mentioning...the red line! either the guy was drunk when he painted it or somebody put that turret way off center..Now I have to wonder what's got everyones attention up at the pointy end? perhaps they've noticed the ship is getting underway and they've all been press ganged...6 months at sea with the Village People...."man ove..men over...crew overboard"!!! :-)
