Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.

That looks so beautiful! I love the snow. I'm in Pennsylvania. We had a huge crazy wild blizzard in October right before Halloween -- and that was it! Craziest, mildest Winter I ever saw! Sucked really. Boring. I love weather, you know? Wild weather. Oh well. Cool shot!
Kindredsoul
that is Northwest for you....Utah (where I live) is the same way.

Wow!Strange weather. It is suppose reach 80 tomorrow here, but I wouldn't be surprised if we still get some more snow.At least it will provide some needed water and then watch everything really start to grow.

Bet that morning commute was a brisk one!....lol.. Our temps are heading back where they are suppose to be for this time of year...by Monday next week reality comes a knock'n...lol...I see low to mid 40's for highs and a few 30's for lows next week...gonna be hard to adjust after 11 straight days of mid 70's and low 80's....But that's Wisconsin for you in March....(smiles)..

My front yard was devoid of snow, then yesterday brought about 6" of the stuff! There's a new system bringing heat in a couple of days so it cannot last much longer now!

At least you can see the path, Mike! A nice little dusting but judging from the water in the other picture there was more than this in places.

Beautiful photo. I like how you catch the nature around you (the man hole cover suggests houses nearby). I see there's a lot of small vistas on your way to work, and you are very good at focusing on them. I don't know where you are located, but from others comments, it looks like a lot of erratic weather over the US. We've had very little snow in south Sweden, had a few weeks warm spring weather, then, 2 COLD days, a slight sprinkling of snow which vanished in a few hours, then warm again. Seems as though someone is either upset with us humans, or playing jokes on us. Keep up the good work, and be careful of ice floes under that snow! :-)

It was a beautiful few days, now you send me your storm. Gee. Thanks, Mike. Pretty, but I can live without the snow. ")

Amazing view Mike. We have snow falling today too. Things had warmed up a bit for a few days but its back to being -10C so the snow falling today wont melt for a while.
jendellas
Oh Mike you are joking, as it is a major event here if we have snow, it is hard to believe you are still having snowfalls. It does look beautiful though :o)
Rainastorm
Such a beautiful and refreshing capture Mike.
magnus073
Not sure how I missed this amazing capture Mike, but that is one beautiful snow.

Thanks for the snowfall, me & the teens have missed it this year. But it's not Easter yet, so there's time. But not this week; highs are supposed to be in the high 70s to mid-80s all week.
