Description
After watching the Earthflight documentaries I was inspired by the one on South America to make this image.
Macaws and other parrots eat some fruits that are toxic, so need to go to a mudlick to eat the mud that helps settle the digestion. However all does not go as planned. Being a cautious bird because of their size with their inability to escape as easily as the smaller parrots if a predator appears, they take their time to check out the mudlick. Sometimes they have to look for another mudlick.
This was one such time.
Red&Green Macaws and the smaller Blue-head Parrots from SBRM by Ken Gilliland.
Most plants and logs used in the jungle setting from Stonemason's Enchanted Forest sets. Rocks by Faveral.
Jaguar, DAZ Big Mil Cat.
Butterflies by Merlin in Secret Garden.
For the Mudlick I used Travelers Morphing Mossy Outcrop.
Hope you enjoy your stay at the Mudlick, look around. Please zoom.
Cheers, Jan

Awesome image, Jan!!!! Really like the vegetation, too, and the way the brightness of the macaws shows up against the duller colors of Nature.
