Description

Wanted to see if I could achieve a credible explosion/fire effect ... Well it's not perfect but I think it can 'do the trick' ... Comments and advices are highly welcome. As usual, posed and set up in Daz Studio. Materials tweaking, lighting and rendering in Octane Render. I used a low intensity HDRI map plus some meshlights for lighting and pathtracing kernel. Postwork in Gimp for resizing and signature only. Thanks for viewing and taking time to leave a comment. Have a great time. Many thanks too for your comments and favs on my previous image.

As much as I like this scene, something about it was bugging me for the last few days, and now I know what it is. When a biped is running fast (well ones with legs that work the way ours do), they only contact the ground with the ball of their feet, and only for a moment compared to the time spent running. So the chances of getting a 'shot' like this, with the feet in that position, is highly unlikely. It would look far more realistic if you had one character either just pushing off with the ball of their foot, or just landing with the ball, and the other suspended in mid air entirely. Just my 2/5ths of the smallest denomination we have here in Au.
