Description

Trying to come up with a title. Sometimes my brain doesn't work properly! I'm thinking about stuff like, "Waves of Grass, Waves of ... Waves." No, that's not right. "Rock Paper Scissors." Nope, that isn't it either. "Rock Around the Pacific with Grass." Ummm ... No. See the problem? My mind is always busy, but I don't always come up with the right answer! I asked Bill for some help (that doesn't usually work out very well for me, but I'm eternally optimistic), and when I started muttering "rock, rock," he said, "Rock Chalk Jayhawk!" Okay. I'm all over it! That might not make much sense to most of you, but our favorite basketball team is playing for the Championship tonight, and we're VERY excited! It's the World Series of college basketball. The World Cup. The Superbowl. You get the idea? Any other day of the year I would never have thought it was a good idea to call this picture "Rock Chalk Jayhawk," but we're a basketball-crazy household, and I'm doing my bit to support the team!

Yes, it is not always easy to "create" a smart title. Dont I know. Just look in my gallery. There you find the best lame titles ever, if you should be in need of such ;-) But this is indeed a wonderful capture, Tara :-)

How about just 'Black Rocks' - simple, too easy! ... don't like it? It could easily be the Loch Ness monster - finally turning up, somewhere else ;) I am far more interesting, what is sticking up from the sand there, a hand in a Jeep? waving - not drowning! (perhaps I better wait until the left eye is done) BTW would that be Basalt rocks or just wet rocks? (I can't help you with Baseball :( BB

What a shot! I love the waves in this: the water waves, the grass waves, the wave often performed in the audience stands at a sporting event...but I didn't see one of those in this shot, but my mind goes off in strange directions at time. I love the title! It reminded me of the lyrics to some quirky song, only I haven't actually heard a song with those lyrics, but I did hear one where the only lyrics were: "Badger/badger/badger/badger..." endlessly. It's one of those odd, viral internet things that has nothing to do with this image, but there you have it. I love this shot, however. It's so wonderfully crisp. I can almost hear the waves.
