when your area sets a record rainfall for the month of March and most of that rain is in the last few days
I estimate that the water level ABOVE the Boardwalk at its deepest is about 5 feet (about 1.6 meters)
needless to say I'm taking the long way around for a while

High tide in the marsh-lands! Now, where did my bridge go to? Hope it's still there when the water subsides. This is a very interesting photo, particularily when compared with earlier photos of the same place. Gives an idea of how slow the run-off is compared to the run-in. Again, beautiful mirror-like reflections. I see your fascination with this area - it varies so with the precipitation and the light. Keep up the good work! And don't fall in - the water must be quite cold! :-)
