Description
I'm going to take a break, hopefully a small one, until I can accomplish a render that be I can be pleased with. Lately, hell maybe since I've started, I have created images that, in some way, depict my mood or attitude at the time I made them... and many have just not been very good. I've never been truly satisfied with anything I've rendered.. so I am going to work at doing better at it. It's never a bad thing to want to improve.
I'll be around and commenting on all your posts, but I need to step back and take a breath.
So, here is my last post for a while. Thanks for having a look.
Credit goes to Danie and Marforno for DM's Circle found at Daz3d. One awesome set and poses.

Cool render and composition, Seth. Love the atmosphere and mood. I always like your work. I think everyone here have ups, and downs, and need absence from time to time. Nonstop upload and image creation eat your soul, after a while. Taking a break often bring back pleasure and inspiration for creating. I hope the break will provide you with, what ever you need, to rock'n roll.

I love your work. And yes, it has had an edge to it, a dark mood, but isn't that what art is about? It is always supposed to be 'pretty' because life isn't pretty. I will be looking foreword to your return when you feel up to it.

absolutely fantastic, Seth! Great concept. Poses and lightning are brilliant.

Fantastic decor and outfits, great lighting, impressive mood, a perfect image, Seth ! Come back soon !

Love the dark tones in this one, Seth, reminds me of some art I vaguely remember from an early issue of "Heavy Metal" magazine, the name of the artist escapes me, unfortunately. We're all our own worst critics, many in my gallery I look back at and wonder "what was I thinking posting this?" I'm taking a hiatus due to comp issues rather than a self imposed exile but I understand the lack of muse that hits us all sometimes. I for one will be waiting to see a new one from you, love your work.

You are absolutely right, if you ae not happy with your works, make a break ... I think I will do the same very soon for the same reason and others ;-) Anyway, I like your last images and that one has that unqiue atmosphere and mood, dark ones, I like so much :-)

Yup. Nothing wrong with rejuvenating yourself, refreshing. This work looks fantastic to me though, the render as well as the scene which is basically a unique world unto itself to me. A signature work and so very original. Very much looking forward to your return as well, of course!

This is a fantastic image! The lighting and poses are great! I understand the need for a break! I do hope it's not a long one, I enjoy your images and always look forward to a new one!

Your posing in this is outstanding. I like those outfits too and always love D & M's sets. I was reminded of the triple-goddess Hecate statue(s) when I opened this up. This is a very nice piece Seth - classic and clean. I think we've all had those 'WWIT?' moments but at the same time we are constantly learning from our experiments and growing as an artist...so, we can't really be too hard on ourselves as long as we're learning and progressing. Art is great therapy for externalizing emotions without really 'externalizing' them. So take a break and just experiment and play and hopefully we'll see you posting again soon Seth!

Splendid work man, I like it. I understand the feeling, it's a great rarity to finish something ten step back and say "I nailed that one", there's always something that's just not quite right, that's why I keep trying. Peace

Image looks great yo me but I know what you mean, have been there myself for a number of times and still think I can do better. There is always room to improve so good luck.

This is really a very lovely piece, and equals many of the Goddess-centered artwork I've seen on the web. It is beautiful in its simplicity, and has a very quiet grace, yet profound in its intensity. Also it reminds some of us of a time long past, when we were still connected to our old gods--who are no more demonic than the new gods. And, fortunately, for many of us the old gods are as alive as ever! OXOXOXOXO Jane

Oh, I do not want to know what this ancient god ... He probably has a hundred eyes, and just as many arms ... Fantastic picture, a masterpiece!

amazing scene and render

~I would say this is pretty impressive work...but then the artist is always most self-critical. I scaled back my posts for a similar reason, I wanted to take time to create an image that looked how I imagined it, not just how it happened to render. It takes more time, but in the end I am more satisfied. Bravo for wanting to improve...but you are pretty damn good already, imho!~ :-)
