Description

The blue thing is called a mooring snubber. As the boat bobs on the water, the snubber absorbs the energy of the movement and the boat never pulls the line totally taut. This saves wear and tear on your lines and your boat hardware. (I looked it up.)

Interesting contraption. New to me. I wish I had something like that in my life. Feel all tied uo in knots. The big knot on the cleat is so obviously to take up excess line so it doesn't drop in the water. A small detail, but important. Nice that you noticed! Something we all too often take for granted - the small details in life. And thanks for the info! Keep up the good work! :-)

And it looks good too. Such a great shade of blue! I love it when smart gadgets actually look like they've been meticulously designed. This rocks...but absorbs the shock of rocking as well! How cool is that!?
