Description
Another of prolific author Arthur J Crudworthy's novels: this time a tale of beast men and giant octopi and the valiant crew of the Earth ship Avenger, captained by Dick Starr.
It was recently discovered that Crudworthy also used the following pen names: Catchpole Warwick and Morris Traveller, but he only wrote four novels under these names.
Daz Gorilla, Mock space evil space brain and Bryce stock goodies. Postwork in GIMP. (I have rediscovered my Photoshop disc but not installed it yet ^_^ )

Ooh, love it! You're a real master of these "book cover" style works, and you have an excellent feel for the style and tone of Pulp-genre. Great to see your work again, it's been ages since I've seen anything!

Thanks DrO... I've been away for way too long. Lack of inspiration and ideas to be honest. Just happy that my renders don't look realistic... that wouldn't look right with these retro pieces.

Half right mate, they look like very realistic covers and damn good art. I seem to recall an AA Motoring Guide edited by Morris Traveller, you may have just explained why it listed all the 'Little Chefs' on Venus :-)
