Description
"I have things to do and places to go, so if you're quite finished taking pictures, I'll be on my way."
Captured 4/5/12, at the semi beautiful El Dorado Nature Center in beautiful Long Beach, California.
ZOOM worthy.
No nemesis here. This little one was most cooperative and gracious enough to stop and give me its best profile while I furiouly fumbled with the settings and composition on my camera, trying to get in the best shot(s). Never know when it might get bored or uncurious and scoot away.
Incidentally, no reward in return for this variety of squirrel with the catlike tail; feeding of wildlife is not permitted in the Nature Center.
Toodles, thankx for dropping by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Wow, what a cute little ham! Great set of captures, Harry; and I'd be willing to bet that people feed him even though it's against the rules.

Aww lol I bet he would have stayed five more minuets if you had snuck him a snack hehe GREAT shots Harry!!

Nice captures of this little squirrel. Can't even say "working for peanuts"...I'm sure there is lots' of natural food around though.

Ditto to all that has been commented. I receive these postings about 5:45 am PST I did notice the squirrels earthy colors blend well with it's surroundings.

He has a slight different look than the squirrels here, not sure what it is or maybe he is just a little more fed. Cute shots!

Sweet collage Harry and all three are nicely caught. Spending most of my life in New England, big fluffy squirrels were the norm. When I arrived in south Florida, I thought that the local squirrels had the mange. I took years to get used to the 'cat like' squirrel tails. :o)

lol, Dana. I lived in New England too, and they were much like this too; as they are in the upper midwest. And I've seen those squirrels in Florida, and I don't know where they got their tails either...Anyway, beautiful clear captures, and more fine detail in these animal captures. And the sequence seems to be in order, you have it looking to the right, then slightly to you, then to the left. Really clear and fine work on this little beauty. And I'm amazed it's so cooperative, if people aren't allowed to feed it: Without the food, most squirrels are anxious to go hunting and not stopping for humans. These squirrels must be very comfortable with humans...The last shot's wonderful, with the paws and tail and his little "pot belly" sticking out. More fine animal work from you. I'm glad I'm commenting on these at last.
