Description

You know the absolute quiet of being outdoors in the fallen snow? I hope this captures a bit of that. I thought the red texture was a good fit for it. Here in the states we have cardinals. Beautiful red birds and my favorite time to watch them is when the snow is thick and they are like little red flags against it. Again playing with Roxanne and the Rilaun props and weapons. The building is a freebie by Dryjack. Freebie brushes for the trees in the frame. Pines and other plants are Traveler's stuff at RDNA. Terradome sky. The hair caught the light well, I think it has a good transparency to it. Hope you all are well!

The lighting on the hair is beautiful. She is like a lovely bright spot against the snow, but she makes me cold. LOL

Lovely! And you're right; I think red cardinals in the snow is one of the most beautiful sights.

Oh wow, a stunning scene with all the greatness of winter fantasy. Love those berries against the white snow background and her red outfit, for some reason it reminded me of Little Red Riding Hood (the movie-- and you made a render of this sometime ago).Very impressive!

This is a very nice scene. I like the poses of both, the animal and the character. The red texture for Rilaun outfit is my favorite, so attractive. Well done, Delaney!

I agree with you, the red textures are perfect for that scene and they look fine with the matching frame color ! A very fine composition with the props, the snow and the lighting, a superb snowy capture !

She's a bit underdressed for the cold and the wind? I hope that she gets her prey and meets a warm fire soon.

Well, Roxanne must be a very warm-blooded lady! It looks cold out there! But this is a stunning piece of art, Delaney - and I do think you captured that snowy silence very well. I love that feeling - there's just something so peaceful about it - didn't get much snow this year. I love how you placed the deer - and that's a great job with Dryjack's prop, too! A superb work all the way around!

this has a great mood to it! I love winter scenes and sadly there are very few props out there that really work well with snow. Great job!

You captured that mood beautifully. There was no siginificant snow to speak of around here this year, but the mood this image evokes reminds me very well of how quiet things are and how muffled sounds are. I've surprised deer and wild turkey's in my own back yard on days like that. As long as you move slow and stop to look, they might not even know you're there. Wonderful image and nice depiction of Roxanne.

I see you prefer the outfit's color - red - before some warming qualities of it, for a winter scene... lol! It has such a neat quiet atmosphere in it, even if it's just the quiet before storm, if there will be some hunting going on... Vashek
