What do I do? Â I write and I love art. Â I love to read fantasy and science fiction, especially if there are dark creatures and lots of romance thrown in.Â
About 2 and a half years ago I started doing 3D art after a lifetime of fooling around with traditional media like pastel and pencil and watercolor. Â I love this medium - Poser and what can be done with it, and also mixing poser with digital painting. Â I enjoy painting skies and cloth and hair for the most part and adding magical effects in post work. Â
Now I'm learning how to model and texture, too and am finding it quite addicting to practice. Â I hope that I can become as at ease with that process as rendering.
I hope you enjoy my gallery! Delaney Anne Grant

It's greatly improved, the light works better and the wings look fine now ... You were right to revisit it ;-) And as Angel and Odile, I will leave my window open :-))

I liked the previous version, but I agree with you - this one is even better! I think it's a great thing to revisit one's older artwork (even if it's only a few days old LOL) and try different things with it. I've been looking at several of mine in this light.. This is outstanding, Delaney! Gotta go check out your pin-up!! :-D

Glad you reworked this! Well worth it. And, yes, I'd leave my window open too; only, with my luck, I'd get one of the crows! Excellent scene and yummy angel!

Beautiful and wonderful image and work.

You nailed it! This wing pose is much better and revealing. Really splendid work. All the other elements still stand out beautifully. Well done!

Oh yea, good on you for not being satisfied until it reached your satisfaction. You had a vision and you stuck to it. Seeing this second work I have to say - much better! I can see how the wings looked like they were falling off to his left and the church did look overbright. Yea, I like this version much better. He looks way more solidly grounded now and the uniform lighting is much more natural.

I like both versions of this render, the wings on this one look better, but I miss the drama added by the illuminated building behind the angel... but it's a night scene anyway... :) Now I'd love to see this Night Angel in action! :) Vashek
