Yep I have another of Steve's drawings.
Beautiful Pagan, I feel so lucky as I know Steve doesn't do this kind of art anymore.
What you have to remember is, you all may look at the drawing & say WOW, that is amazing but I have to say WOW that is Pagan. I have to say I look at other artists & they usually have a pic of the dog they have drawn displayed with the drawing or painting & I have thought flip that isn't really like the pic.

Yes, that is the skill. I have pastels of my dogs by Julie Stooks and they are from live sittings. They exactly capture the animal and are not just a breed pic. Clever Steve!

This is a wonderful series Barbara and I have saved a number of photos of all your girls. You have done some amazing montages of all you dogs and I can see that is an excellent portrait of Pagen. Steve is a talented artist!

WOW!!! Pagan is gorgeous!!! yeah, know what you mean... once introduced Troy to someone and she said: "yeah, I've seen 'em before", angorarabbits that is. I was like 'HUH'? 'but this is TROY!!!' (Pagan was the name of a wonderful galgo that shared her life with my friend Conny) he caught even the reflections in her eyes, fabulous!!!

Stunning work. Steve does exceptional work, as someone else said, he captures the dog, not just a picture of the breed. Painstaking work, capturing a dog's character as Steve does. Magnificent.
