Description
Often reproduced but this is an original.Displayed in the foyer of Albion House, it was taken down following the loss of Titanic and placed in a tube in the basement.Found in the 1960's and displayed in Liverpool Museum before being given a new home in the Merseyside Maritime Museum.
As expected, some excellent renders to commemorate the event.Hope these 'different' images have been of interest.More to come from the Maritime Museum...thanks for comments and interest.

Very interesting and this is a great idea.

Those old posters were SO beautifully done! A bit of foreshadowing, having the insurance company's name at the bottom. I bet they thought they'd never have to pay a claim.

I wonder who the artist was. As you say, reproduced and well know poster, but here's an original. Note the low angle of the image, to make the ship look even grander. Thanks for posting, Neil. Looking foreward to others from you. I like your new avatar - File Missing (must be your previous avatar that went missing). Perhaps we can launch a competition - find Neil's missing avatar! See who can find it. I've posted a temptation for you. Enjoy it! :-)

Hi mate, long time since I saw your last upload, so welcome back! This poster looks familiar to me, someone at work asked me the other day whether I thought it was "Shallow" for the launch (sorry) of the film Titanic 3D to coincide witrh the 100 year anniversary of the shipsd loss when so many lives were lost!

What a fine poster this is and with so many reproductions around it great to see an original. Glad that someone had the sense to put it in a tube and not fold it. They are showing "A Night To Remember" in the afternoon. A great tribute neil, thanks for showing us this.
