Description

Once in awhile something I've done in Photography inspires me to write, I'm not a writer, but I enjoy writing. This is a true story about I man I knew many years ago, he was much older than me, from our conversations I new he had become very intelligent from life. So I asked if you could take what you know now back to your younger days would you go. At the time I was surprised at he's answer. Now through the years and there has been many,I understand and agree. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you should care to leave! And thanks for the favs. on my last post!

Too much of a visual challenge for me to read the inspiring text in the photo, but a magnificent image otherwise.

Your sparkling somber scene is lovely and similar to what I am looking at right now, except the shapely Paps of Jura are the hills across the water. I have sometimes thought about this issue you posed to your friend. I would definitely take what (slight) wisdom I have now back to my younger self, with little hesitation. If we don't treat it pedantically but with gratitude, wonder and a healthy dose of skepticism (after all our wisdom may in fact be wrong), I think it primarily enhances our ability to understand and navigate life, and be a better person to all our friends and acquaintances. And perhaps even the planet we live on.

Would have to say no as well, but I like the way he put it..."I'm to close to home", well said!
