Description

Scanned from a 4X6 Matte finish photo. Taken with a Nikon 2020 about 15 years ago. Was in a gallery today of an artist that mentioned not having any rain n Phoenix since November. So it prompted me to go through an old photo album of some shots taken after an El Nino winter. Had never seen so many buds on the Saguaro cacti, wish I took more photos that year. They look like some alien antennae sprouting. Especially like the small ones just coming forth on the left side of the larger grouping. Not entirely happy with the images I took of the open blooms. The subject was somewhere around 33 feet tall(10 meters), and are not that sharp. I might dare post one anyway since many may have never seen such blooms. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed the last image below. thumb_2319286.jpg

Great capture of the buds, they do look a bit alien. based on your description of the location of the blooms and considering the height as well as the prickles on the barrel, I'm sure that no one will mind the quality of the photo of the blooms
