Description
T-rex has been entertaining us with pictures from his model collection and in the process bringing back happy memories of younger days. I built hundreds of kits as a kid and ove the years they have all gone...(most to the hands of my own young children).Well at least the kids can't get their hands on my hard drive....The top image is a re-post from my old gallery (took a while to find it and not entirely sure I still had it but..)
The Jagdpanther was a freebie at Vanishing Point many years ago, now updated and available from ranman38's excellent range at Ontarget3D. Troops are Vogel Einze by ThunderR.
The lower image I've never posted before though it pre-dates the top one.The JagdPanther as it came out of the file on the left.On the right after it had been through my paintshop.
So this is for Michael, thanks mate.....next more from Liverpool Pier Head with a connection to T-Rex's earlier ship model posts.

T.Rex
OH, WOW, Neil! Yes, I DO remember the upper image. A LONG time ago. And I was wowwed out by it already back then! Particularily by the excellent snow work around the moving tracks, and the foggy background. Man, do I still have a lot to learn! And the lower image - yupp, I have the yellow one, straight out of the box. But the one on the right I've never seen before. Excellent paint work! And you've even gotten the zimmerit anti-magnetic paste on there. It looks SO 3D I wonder whether it's paint or an added mesh. And the added details, like that chain and cable and the skirt armour. Yupp! It's a beast, alright, if you're at the wrong end of that long barrel! Thanks a LOT for posting! Check my gallery for your surprise. Keep up the good work! :-) A grateful T.Rex.

Love the addition of the German Shepherd in the top picture

I think the title of the top image was "Take the dog to THAT tree over there". ;) (No fire hydrants in the Ardennes I guess). If I send over my Jag can you paint it??? .................................Your usual well done stuff.

Wow - big scene and so many details, e.g. the condensate which helps to imagine the coldness in the scene. And as always: a dog is a boys best friend.
