Description

The top half is the Karesansui Late Rock Garden and it is a replica from the Muromachi Period of the 15th century Japan. Karesansui means “dry landscape”. A completely abstract garden space, enclosed by walls, composed principally of rock arrangements and coarse gravel for use in Zen Buddhist meditation. Surrounded by tall trees, it is a very peaceful spot to sit and think, thus the free form bench as the bottom half. Harry has a thing for benches. Info from Morikami literature. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana
