Description
Any guesses? Look at the tail. This little girl
came in last year. Her mother was poached. At least they got caught! She did fine and was released 6 months later with two others. For all those that don't know yet, this is a bobcat. For the record, they have teeth and claws that make domestic kittens feel quite dull. I would never want one of these mad at me! This was my first bobcat and I learned that I need a better cage, because boy, are they strong!

Awe bless her, do they poach them for their coats? Why does everything have to be poached :o(

Great shot, at first I thought she might be a tabby cat because she has the classic M-mark on her head, but then I realized she was a bob cat. Poor little girl, rought start on life. Man what some people won't do to make a few bucks - pathetic bastards they are - I'd like to see them being hunted down and skinned out.

No matter what, cats are cats...and the bigger, "wild" ones definitely have no problem showing you that. The domestic housecat is pretty fierce as well...but they're so much smaller and so we tend to forget that they're wily predators. This is a gorgeous pic! I love the kitten-ish expression. Wary curiosity always looks so cute coming from a young-cat face! This is quite a stunning shot.

Great capture of this little lady - so sad and angry about her mother's death by the poachers Roxy has the right idea about what to do with poachers, though I've a few add-ons for that - like 'canned hunts' for poachers - $5000 per poacher and the money goes into, you guessed it: Animal Rescue!
