Description
Dakotabluemoon asked to see a bell so always happy to oblige!!! This, as you can see, is one of the smaller ones of the eight and I don't know if there are any bats in here!

Oooo...the bell ringing eqipment looks to be in great shape. I just read where these bells date from the 1790s. See there is a wiki for almost everything:) This is a fascinating church building...

Wow i love this shot i have this fascination with bells do not know why but must be the different sounds they create and around here on Sunday morn i can always here the bells ringing from town off in the distant if the wind is out of the west so on Sunday morn when i get up i run outside to listen for them to ring and to me it'like God calling all angels together.

A real dinger of a shot! Looks like much of that stuff must have been replaced at some point, the wood on the wheels looks fairly new. I could spend a long long time taking angle shots there...

reminds me of a bell tower I climbed in the Philippines oldest continuous church.steps were missing but I went anyway.they only had one bell. this bell does not show it's age but the walls do
