Description
Shouldn't throw stones?
Shouldn't walk around naked?
Use large amounts of Windex?
This house, which features floor to ceiling windows on each of it's three levels, was located right next to the large hotel (the Overleaf in Yachats) where we were staying (you can see the hotel reflected in the glass on the lower floor). Whoever lives there has spectacular views of the Pacific ocean, but clearly is not concerned about privacy. A public path that runs by the hotel goes right by the house. It seems to me almost as if they were living in a display case. I think I would have built this house on a cliff rather than at ground level...

where I use to work in an exclusive neighborhood the people left their curtains open or did not have any period I think people want others to look at their nice furniture , or just exhibitionists

I would guess that it's a passive-solar home.

A typical looking Oregon coast day, too. One of life's little pleasures is a relaxing drive down 101, stopping every so often for another bowl of chowder, I've many fond memories of it. i'm thinkin' "papasmrfe" has it right about the solar aspect although one can never count out the exhibitionists in xome. Nice capture.

Someone went to great 'panes' to build this. Lovely shot.

!!! Wow! I'm thinking passive solar, as well. Facing west, it has GOT to heat up in there during the afternoon! Clifftop architecture, for sure!

Yes this would look great overlooking the ocean and not an hotel. An excellent capture.

i cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would want to live in such a place that was so stark and so lacking in privacy, but there it takes all sorts i suppose.
