So amazingly symbolic Nikolay! I still think of you and your family daily! What a beautiful image of new life.

Yes, life goes on. What a beautiful simplicity this is.

Yes. Life is not a rehearsal. I see a bareness about this that has such meaning. Best wishes, my brave friend.

Life is like a ~perpetuum mobile~, nothing lasts forever ... just like this little vine, but Spring comes first, once more. BB Sometimes I wish it would! - if only to see what goes on after departure, it would be so interesting to know, it's just my curiosity - you are also in my thoughts, regularly Nikolay and with a heavy heart.

An excellent title for this lovely capture, and yes life does keep on going but yours will still be touched with sadness.

A marvellous image, and a beautiful metaphor. The going on has surprised me on more than one occasion. Times when the world seems to stop ... but it's just been me that's run into a brick wall.

Beautiful composition, powerful in its simplicity. Great visual message, full of meaning and emotion.

that message struck! very very touching image!!! (did you also wonder how it was possible that all & everybody went on, while your time had stopped? as if nothing had happened... )

magnificent. I won't forget, Nikolay, I'll remember...this journey has many turns and I know you're still on it. But lord, how this vine crosses from darkness to light, and how it illumines the dark, and how even the wooden 'separator' between the dark and lighter side is so aglow---how all these speak of transcendence & bestowal. it's one of the gifts of your work...Also, whether we're seeing actual mist or just a dirty pane of glass, the image seems permeated by a gentle misty presence (another gift), and the light in the upper right is just beautiful...I see that you're chronicling your journey through your work, and it's very touching, and I wish you immense support along the way, from us but also from something way beyond. Much strength & light to you...your images have tinged us with exquisite transcendence; and I hope we can give enough back to make your journey easier & little more illumined...

This is astonishingly elegant! Poignant. Evocative. So much of your work is like this: on an always profound level. I always liken it to visual haiku, and I guess in a sense, it is since traditional spoken haiku DOES convey both an image and a mood...something you do brilliantly here. The interplay of light and darkness is quite amazing, and I love the shadowy realm and then the wood texture! Stunning. Such a brilliant pieces of work and, for me, a testament to the always-exquisite surprise of humanity. This is quite stunning.
