Description

Greeting Once Again.... Before I go any further I want to clarify that it is Tuesday and your not confused....Yes I'm a day late....But due to my wireless router going AWOL this past Saturday I haven't been able to up load anything until today...My computer I create on and use to upload my art here decided to throw a server card issue at the router and it locked me out of my own D$#%! putor..(Was forced to use my stand by so I could at least stay somewhat current on comments...lol..).......And what followed was a string of profanities that would make a sailor blush..lol....so I couldn't get to the store until today for a replacement and now here I am....Tah Dah!!!! So.... Here's the latest from my New Series called Small Town USA for your viewing pleasure.... Anybody remember Dog-n-Suds??... And due to the slight chance the restaurant chain doesn't like me recreating their establishment I called mine in this recreation "Dogs" (as in more than one) "not" Dog and Suds...Just wanted to clarify this for not wanting to get in any trouble with the copyright boys.....(wink)... So without further ado....Here's the latest in the series of rural small town America from the Imagination of Wallace Creation....(smiles)... ~Will~ Created in Bryce Pro 7 Post work in Photoshop Elements 8 Tree's from Tree Lab Various transportation/water tower/people from Archive3d.net and DMI-3d.net 23 T-Bucket is of my own creation Entire restaurant/signage/drive up order screens where created by me in Bryce Pro 7 from various shapes and textures. *Note* Due to the above stated reasons of being behind I'll sneak the latest addition to Welcome To Hazzard County 2 from the response I received from Hazzard 1 sometime later in between now and Fractal Factory Friday's Addition... If your a Daisy Dukes Fan you might want to stay tuned.....(smiles).. Hope this finds you all in good to moderate health....Thanks for your continued patronage towards my art...Means more than you'll ever measure......(smiles)

Great series you have going. Brings back fond memories of days of innocence, before the Corporate Government took everything over, including our reason to be. Keep them coming, we need these images to remind us who we were and what we can once more become. Superior work with a real solid objective!!!!!

Jeeesh! This is so great. The lighting, scene arrangement, and I especially love the way the sign looks. Oh my God. What I remember I think they called dairy bars. You know, milkshakes and burgers/dogs. Oh. They used to smother those hot dogs in ketchup. This one in particular comes to mind. There's a McDonald's there now. Ha! LOL. Figures. Excellent work!

We had the Duchess Drive In. It was where all the hot cars drove thru, a cool place to hang out when you where 16-18. Burgers for 12 cents, fries for 10 cents, and a chocolate shake for 20 cents. Those where the days, hot cars, cheap teen food, and hot babes. OK I'm back now. Cool image Will keep it up, I mean re-living the past glory days.

This is utterly amazing Will!!!! I remember this style of drive-in. Not the name you used here, it must have been just an American company, but we had A&Ws that looked a lot like this, and the cap hops would bring your food on a tray that hung off the window.
