Greetings To All!....
What a past couple of days it has been in the land of William....
"Random Thoughts Alert!!.....
You know.....in life there are 3 things you "don't" do....
You "don't" tug on Superman's cape....
You "don't" pull the mask of the ole' Lone Ranger...
And you definitely "don't" without a shadow of a doubt ..."pee" into the wind......
"End of random thoughts...lol....
My calendar at this point is probably different from yours....lol....
I missed posting Monday due to a server card issue...(since then rectified)...then Wednesday my 125 year old farm house decide to shift it's foundation and left a 1/4 inch crack up my basement wall reaching my dens inner wall which lead to it continuing upwards until it severed my phone lines which knocked out my internet and wireless access to my computer....
This is where you can laugh if you feel inclined to do so.....Go ahead..I'll give you a few seconds......Finished....feel better....good...let's continue shall we....
I then said to myself...."self"...it couldn't get any worse right?...
Well if you agreed just now your gonna really like this part.....The soonest the "Cable/Phone/Tech Guy" could get here was.....you guessed it...Friday....but.......
C'mon you knew there was going to be a "but" right?......Sooooooo......
He finds out that he can't fix good ole' Ma Bell's ancient wiring installed probably when the telegraph was around....rofl...and told me he had to call another "Cable/Phone Tech Guy" to bring the other truck....you know the one for "outside" installment of "ALL NEW" lines from the pole to the house which at this point I looked over at the dude and asked ever so enthusiastically.....Not going to have this done today are you?......He smiled that evil smile that all techs give you when they know they are holding the life of your internet access in the palms of there hands and said....Should get a good start on it today and finish up tomorrow.....best we can due under the circumstances...
So with that said.....At roughly 4:47 pm today I have all "new" phone lines and have some of the most blazing speed I've ever had with DSL....So I spent the afternoon getting caught up on the galleries to the best of my abilities and am now presenting my "Friday" Fractal from the Fractal Factory at just after midnight this evening...
So without further ado....
This is the results after being stressed out and then listening too Pink Floyd while ever so slowly sipping a glass of red wine......
I then proceeded to take my creativity up a notch on this one as I dug deeper into this thing called Apophysis 7X...
Here's the latest to come from the Fractal Factory for your viewing pleasure...(smiles)...

As for the crack in the wall for those wondering....All being repaired and life will continue on longer in this 125 year ole' farm house that I call home....See You Monday.....(hopefully if all goes well).....lol....
This one is worth zooming.....(smiles)...

GOOD stuff, KW/WILL!! (I have 'satellite' 1.5 MB download speeds with HUGHESNET .... Mounted on the rooftop facing the s/w skies .... Coaxial Cabled from it into the house and into my 'modem' .... $90 bucks a MONTH for all that SLOWNESS .... It only runs anywhere NEAR what they SAY you'll run between MIDNIGHT and 6 a.m. .... The ONLY ''good'' thing about it is there is NO PHONE line .... GRINS >... Of course, if my house 'tipped' over a bit from a 'crack' similar to yours above, I COULD be wearing a NEW hat? .... SMILES.

Pretty amazing render! Oh! and good luck on all the home problems. My house isn't that old so hopefully those kinds of things are down the road, but now I'm starting to see that dark cloud over my home, so maybe I shouldn't have wrote this??

Fantastic work with Apo 7x-I have tried working with it, but not too much has been generated. Quite the experience you've had, every once in awhile the Gremlins have a field day at our expense. Best not to feed them after midnight. One of the most beautiful fractals done with 7X--superb!!!!!
Heitaikai
A very beautiful fractal. I'm glad to hear that everything turned out well for you.

Awesome image Will. I am very glad you got your internet back finally. I would add to your list of things you definetly without the shadow of a doubt do. Peeing into the wind is a good thing to avoid, but not peeing onto an electric fence is even more important to remember. :~)

Wow. I have no idea how you guys do this stuff, but this fractal is amazing. The lines are so crisp. And is it proper to say that the geometry is amazing? That's the term that comes to mind. No matter what though, this is mind-blowing work.
