Description
Captured 5/3/11, early in the AM, from somewhere around the neighborhood.
Remarkably ZOOM worthy, with the original on top.
BTW, maybe I'm going to the wrong places, but I find this year's crop of roses is nowhere as beautiful, healthy, plentiful and varied as previous years around this area, which makes it a main reason I have to dip into my 2007-2011 files for prime pics. But there have been some super cloud formations so far this year, that I'll be posting now and then.
Farvel, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

as far as dipping into older rose shots, we don't know when they're from so believe me it doesn't take a jot away from their beauty. I'm sorry the roses aren't doing as well this year, but your archive is a cornucopia, from what we see here; so you've kept them alive for all of us. This shot is so noble & undulant, it's almost like a painting. What a fine monumental stance for a rose. The light & shade is terrific, and the stance, majestic. The blue & pink versions bring out new characteristics---both hues are very rich---and the pink is saturated to sensuous highs. (It's really saturated & lush.) Your choice to make its background green lets the pinks stand out even more. And because of the flat sky these seem almost like graphics prints. Fine vivid work, and that pink is a knockout.
