Description
As I was getting a bottle ready, a friend that is another rehaber held her for me. Baby raccoons will put their arms around your neck and hold on for dear life if they are frightened. I had just picked her up from the people that called with her. She was found in their back yard by herself. She is quite underweight, so she has been away from mom for a few days.

Aw, she looks so sad. "Where's mommy? And who are these strange beings holding me? And what's that? Looks strange, but... sniff, sniff, smells good. Wish I could have some." Looking at her claws and the sweater, she's clinging. Poor little one. Scared and hungry. I'm so glad you're taking care of these poor little ones. Keep up the good work (taking care, and photo work)! :-)

I am so glad that you are there for her. Sweet photo - I didn't know about the 'cling' reflex but it does make sense
