My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Wow, what an interesting-looking pathway! Nice shot Tara!

This is amazing! I love paths like these: they're so deliciously full of all sorts of interesting things and this is perfectly captured! I love the moss and the light filtering in and down, resting here and there, but allowing shadows to do that shadow thing so elegantly. This is fantastic!

Taking down the dams? That's the first time I hear something is being taken down (instead of being abandonned). This is a really nice photo - more "primeval" forest from the looks of it. Yet, the path suggests otherwise. The greens and brown/red colors are beautiful. Any more photos beautiful as this from this path? Keep up the good work! :-)

And I'll bet it's a 'dam' spectacular overlook, too - even without the dam.. A lovely shot, Tara! Gorgeous light here!
