Welcome and Greetings To One and All!
Okay....Bear with me...I promise to keep this under 4000 characters.....lol....
1st off let me just say the response to me leaving for the summer has been just this side of unbelievable from all you folks...You really know how to tug at a persons heart strings...(smiles)..
*UPDATE*
Upon my reporting Monday that this was going to be my final week here until September have changed to the better for those looking for a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
When I got up and away from my computer after uploading my latest from my small town series Monday I was confronted by my 3 sons.After a lengthy discussion about why I was leaving here for the summer they all told me that that wasn't going to be the case "this" year.
I was instructed to come here upon my next scheduled upload and announce I'm "not" leaving simply because these boys of mine have decided that it's "not" a wise idea to go absent when I'm creating some of the best art of my career/life since all this began some 9 years ago....Their "exact" words where...."Are you F'n Nuts!".....lol..
That and the fact that they decided that my services are no longer required in the yard and they told me this is "my" year to relax and let the next generation of Wallace's show they can do just as good as the ole' man can.
So guess what that means?......(smiles)...
Sorry.....Your stuck with me now....lol...
So with that out of the way let's get down to business.
I'd like to introduce you to my 1st ever character(Gabriel)created from this new obsession called Daz Studio 4...The latest to join my arsenal of creative weapons.5 days of reading and screaming and hair pull'n has taken their toll...I am now brain damaged....hoarse and bald.....lol...But at least I think I've grasped the concept of creating and manipulating characters to the point I feel comfortable with my 1st results and will proceed to expose myself...errr...find my way deeper into what all is involved..I really feel your pain when those that create this kind of art went through in the learning process as I'm sure I have my fair share of late nights in my future.
So here you are...Not the greatest but we all have are starting point and with that I hope you like my 1st ever Character/Portrait/Pin-Up!
This was just to show that I have "grasped" the "concept"
So Beginning next week my schedule is
Monday's.....Rural/Countryscapes/Small Town Series
Wednesdays...Character/Portrait/Pin-Ups
Friday's.....Fractal Factory
3 different types of art from 3 different programs all of which shall keep me busy for some time to come...Your all invited to come along for the ride...Should prove interesting....(smiles)..
Almost forgot...THANKS TO ALL who voted for my "Fractal" submission that placed 2nd in the monthly challenge...You folks are just too much!!

Good news!!!!! Oh your a beginner again, no worries I have only been doing this for 4 1/2 months and never did it before. You will do just fine. I have Daz and Bryce but have not played with then too much I am still trying to figure out Vue. So do us all a favor and write a Daz for dummies, I will need it for the end of the year. Glad you are hanging out with us for the future. Oh and remember to once in a while let the sons know who's the boss, then duck back inside and play with art. Adorable first creature came out of Daz Studio ... the first in a LONG series ... I envy you very much for DazStudio 4, my old computer did not even want to taste it ... I will stay forever nailed to the old 1.3 ... patience. I also have Poser 7, but I do not understand ANYTHING of it ... I'm glad for the good news that you doesn’t leave us alone in the coming months. Congratulations, you raised the boys really smart! Sorry if my writing is incomprehensible, but Google translator is sometimes an awkward stupidity ...:-)

had you not told us this was your first Daz character I would have thought you had done this before. my first fifth and last (can't count that high, lol) time of creating a character certainly did not look any where near as good as Gabriel. and thank your son's for me, either that or thank your self for raising your boy's right.

You have some wise sons. They must take after their mom! Hah! Just kidding. It sounds like you're raising some very considerate and work minded kids, so kudos to you on that. Now she's quite the character, especially for your first. It seems you are going to be giving us some very interesting and different characters for sure. I'm playing with it a bit myself (since it was on sale for a really GREAT price), but have been concentrating more on Hexagon and Vue lately. Hell, I'm already brain damaged and bald - so I guess I've got a head start... At any rate, you have a first-class first DAZ character here - she looks great!
