Description

"I think he liked you," her cameraman said, laughing. Lisbet rolled her eyes smiling and looked out the window of the rental car. "He IS charming, I must admit...." "But?" Jason slowed as they came to a tight hair-pin curve. "I know you too well, Lisbet. There's a 'but' in your voice." Hahaha, she laughed, shrugging. "I don't know. There's something about him I can't put my finger on." She could, but she didn't want to say - not to Jason anyway. She felt very strongly as if she knew Ramon Delacroix, but that wasn't possible. This was the first time she'd met him. She took the autographed glossy he'd given her from her bag and looked at it carefully. She remembered the feeling of familiarity watching him on stage. What was weird about it was that feeling wasn't just connected to him personally, but to Reynard and all his mannerisms. They seemed eerily familiar. The one thing that struck her now where his eyes. He had rather strange eyes - long, heavy-lidded eyes. Those seemed familiar too. "C'mon Lisbet, admit it - you're attracted." "More mystifyied than anything else, really." She put the picture away and sat back, relaxing. "How long will it take to get to Orly?" "About another hour - if the traffic isn't too bad." Lisbet was tired from the long day. They'd had to get up at 3 am to meet at the station and collect Jason's equipment, then catch the plane out of Heathrow. Now there was the trip back. She found her eyes growing heavy as the hypnotic sound of the engine and the tires on the pavement lulled her to sleep. The dream began almost as soon as she fell asleep - a collage of images flying at her and flying away - even the autographed photo Ramon had given her. Scenes from the play appeared and disappeared as if she were watching them, right then and there. In the midst of it all loomed a ghostly figure that was Ramon, but not Ramon. Not Reynard - both but neither one. Lisbet suddenly woke up, startled. "You okay over there, luv?" Jason asked in his broad southern accent. "I just...I don't know. I just had the strangest dream...." ***** Hmmmmm..... Where will this all go? You'll have to bear with me here on the other story, if you're following it. The next scene is the marriage feast - i.e. there are a lot of people in it. I got the central part of it set up yesterday, but I'm also trying to get 'Reynard' done and spent most of the day messing with him. Glad you all liked Laura's "Kalypso" and her pretty purple dress. It is a beautiful outfit and she is very pretty. Thank you so much for the comments, favs and stopping by! That makes it all worth while, dear friends :) Cheers, Ray

Great bit of the story. Is he that 'charming' or has she forgotten who she is? Very interesting. Excellent collage of great images. All the faces just make it more mysterious. Looks great in B&W. Excellent work.

I don't know how you manage to create and run two very compeling stories at the same time. Do you ever sleep or is there something in your blood? He is an incredible beautiful character... but I do like all your male characters. You have a real nack for creating a special type of man that one rarely sees except in certain places outside of "normal" society. The right blend of the femine and and yet the masculine is not at all overwhelmed. It is a special minds eye vision.
