Description
Ta-dah - the lovely Shelby by Jenny and Rob. She is adorable and I love her. Very fun and easy to work with. She has a really sweet, pretty face and I'm glad they put fey ears with her, because she lends herself very well to the fey genre - especially with her 'freckle face' option. With that in mind, I decided to put some sort of fanciful hair on her and make her a red-head. And I had to use Nikisatez's Spell-binder outfit again because it is so gorgeous. I thought it would look good on Shelby and it does! This is the default texture here that comes with it.
Of course a story came to mind as I was watching the render finish. ("Every picture tells a story, don't it?") She reminded me of a little fey princess who's been crying because she has been told she has to marry some fey prince she's never even met. In spite of her feelings, she dresses herself up and dutifully takes herself downstairs to meet him. Just the look on her face said, "Maybe he isn't so bad afterall!" Thus the title.

Thank you all for looking and I have to say a couple of the comments on the last one made me laugh - three in particular. As always your comments and favs are appreciated and I hope you like my version of Shelby! If you haven't seen Seth (barryjeffer) and Odile's (and Jenny's, of course!) versions of her - do go by and check them out. Shelby is very versatile!! I can't wait to see what some of the rest of you do with her.

Brilliant! She looks very sweet and she does lend herself to a fey look. I'm glad you used the freckle option. I decided to try that option myself. Perhaps later today I'll have a finishe version. Excellent render and the lighting shows her off beautifully. Great hair and outfit and the details came out great on her clothes and props, not to mention her skin. Fabulous work.
